The film is both produced and distributed by RR Movie Makers. Prince Mahesh Babu will be seen in as a completely different character in this movie, which is based on mafia and gangsters. ProductionThe film is being produced by RR Movie Makers and which has the caption Guns don’t need agreements. The Muhurtham shot will be picturised in July but the regular shooting will take place from August. Earlier Shruti Hassan was considered for the female lead, but later Kajal Aggarwal has been finalized. This is the first time Kajal is acting with Mahesh. This film is an action thriller. After two worldwide Bollywood hits, Chammak Chullo and Criminal by Akon, they want Akon to compose music for the film. The International hip hop and R&B (rhythm and blues) singer and rapper, Akon, will belt out a racy number in the forthcoming Telugu film Businessman starring Mahesh Babu and helmed by Puri Jagannath. ReleaseThe release date was fixed as January 11, 2012 even before filming started. Later the date was brought forward by one day eventually, as that date wasn't a weekend in US. Finally it was postponed to 13th January. Business Man would be the first direct release in Paris and Japan along with other overseas countries including USA, Canada, UK, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, South Africa and more. The film would also become the first Telugu film to be released overseas with English subtitles. The overseas rights were bagged by Hari Venkateshwara Pictures while RR Movie makers retained the domestical distribution rights. SoundtrackThe Business Man music composed by Ss Thaman. Audio Rights to Aditya Music, Released on December 22, 2011. The music release event was held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad on 22 December 2011. The television broadcasting rights were acquired by Telugu channels NTV and Gemini TV. Thaman composed six songs for which Haricharan, Priya Hemesh, Geetha Madhuri, Rahul Nambiar and others had lent their voices.
